Cross-play and Cross-progression

I know it's been suggested many times before, but it would be a real game changer to get cross-play and cross-progression on POE1. As console gaming services increase their prices I am less inclined to keep their services. The only thing stopping me personally is my progress on my ssf account. That reasoning aside, cross-play would be very healthy for all trading to include all the available players. Cross-progression would move me completely to steam, no doubt the money I'd save on Xbox services would get spent on better things, like supporter packs =) I'm sure I'm not the only player who'd react this way.

Is there any plan to implement this?

I would really appreciate this happening too. Since i just got a new PS5 and tried to play on it i realized my PC Characters are not available on console.
