Constant crashing FIXED (my experience)

Had terrible issues with crashing, not just the game, my whole computer froze up and I needed to hold down the power button. At first the crashing occurred in game (after logging in), then it was consistently crashing before I could even press the login button.

Interestingly, this occurred directly after I updated my GPU (Nvidia) driver to 581.29.

After using NVCleanstall to downgrade the driver to 566.36, the game is working perfectly fine.

For good measure I followed another's recommendation of changing the shader cache size in nvidia control panel to 100GB.

System specs:
CPU: 10900
GPU: 4070
MEM: 32GB

Game was running on Windowed Fullscreen @2560x1440 w/ DLSS Balanced, Triple buffering ON, Culling OFF.

Driver 566.36 was recommended on a DCS forum post and by EXM Tweaks for 40 series GPUs as it was the last trouble free driver for those models (though I can't confirm the validity) and so far it's working for me.

If you're using a 30 series GPU try 537.58.

50 series GPU users should stay on the latest nvidia drivers.
