POE 2 makes PC frezze to black screen and maybe broke GPU

I'm not sure this falls within the scope of the Path of Exile 2 forum.

You might be best served by looking for related Event Viewer > Windows Logs > System entries that are either level Critical or level Error and taking them to a more general-purpose technical support community. It's been a minute - but from what I remember, r/BuildAPC is really quite good.

But my pc only crashes with this game so I think this post is appropriate here. from what I found it is quite similar to the symptom when the game was first released earlier this year causing the computer to freeze.

Path of Exile 2 is in the top 10 games on Steam by player count;



I don't know how many games you play on your PC - but please understand that Grinding Gear Games has more people playing Path of Exile 2 and not having this issue, than you have games you currently play on your PC without running into this issue.

If you have a problem with needing to use DDU to remove and reinstall the drivers for your video card, then that falls outside the scope of this forum. By all means, mention in your post that you've thus far only observed these symptoms while playing one particularly demanding game.

But 1) GGG no longer have any Technical Support staff, and, 2) their Quality Assurance staff aren't going to help you troubleshoot this. If you want meaningful help, that isn't going to be found here. I derive no satisfaction from making this point - and, indeed, GGG previously kicked me out of their Valued Poster program for bemoaning precisely this lack of support from them.

I played half of the games from your list without any crash. Only this one game makes my PC freeze with a black screen. Many people are playing this game without issues, so is it just me? Should I stay quiet and not post about it for everyone to know?

DDU is one of the methods I have applied and that method worked once, this time it didn't, the previous times I just reset to get back to normal Windows. Do you understand what I mean?
