FIXED: Act 4 Excavation area crashing the game.

The game would crash trying to load this area after the boss fight.

I fixed it:

In Steam:
Right-click path of exile 2,
Properties,
Install files,
verify integrity of game files.

It took a couple minutes and repaired 40 files for me.
Then the game worked fine and loaded the Excavation area! :D
