Problem with Act 3

I have a problem getting to Act 3. After defeating Jamanra, I went to Asala and chose the "Pursuing the Beast" option. This ended Act 2 and moved me to Act 3, to the Sandswept Marsh location. And here I made a very big mistake, as I probably didn’t activate the Waypoint. Instead, I started talking to Zarka and accidentally chose the "Return to Caravan" option, which sent me back to the caravan and Act 2.

Now when I enter the Desert Map, I don’t have the option to travel to Sandswept Marsh. Talking to NPCs (Asala, Zarka) doesn’t do anything. Is there any way to get back to Sandswept Marsh, or do I have to create a new character and go through Act 1 and Act 2 all over again?

How can I switch between acts? I should add that I’m playing on a console, so I’m using a controller.

Thanks to Recette for pointing me toward the option to change the Act.
It turns out I’m blind, as I didn’t notice that there are buttons at the very bottom of the map view to switch Acts.
