Dropped loot labels appearing in a different part of the map

In the Cuachic Vault, I opened a bunch of containers and dropped some loot on the ground, with all loot visible. I then teleported to the boss arena using the nearby checkpoint. All the loot tags were still visible on the ground despite no longer being anywhere near me.
