Characters not showing up on console poe2

Been playing the game for awhile now and I only play on console. Got on this morning to run a few maps and none of my characters showed up and the game acted like I never played before wanting me to start a new character and didn't show me a character list. I got on the website and the website shows all my characters are still there. I did do some stuff with my account yesterday, I just added my email to my account and it merged my other account with this one. But this morning it still shows all my characters on the website but not in game.Un-installed and re installing game while im at work. Would appreciate any feedback.
