Omen of the hunt bugged?

I have two 10 stacks of these omens in my inventory and it seems to only proc on the first possesed monster I kill, it does not seem to proc more than once but it does not state this on the omen description. It just says "the next possessed monster you kill will release its azmeri spirit"
