Bug found fighting Benedictus, The First Herald (dying at the same time)

Hello, GGG ! As the title suggests, a bug was found fighting that particular boss. It happened when the boss and I died at the same time. I killed him and then proceeded to die from a arena wide attack. When I respawned, it did not restart the fight but instead transitioned to the next scene. As he is doing the animation where he rises from a stone pillar, he then gets teleported out of the scene, nowhere to be seen. After that, no continuation of the story. The door behind him is closed and could not proceed inside the excavated site. I've tried respawning from checkpoint - it did not fix the problem.

How I fixed it:
resetting the entire map via the waypoint seems to be the fix. Just thought I should let ya'll know!
