Omen of secret compartments did not trigger on non-unique researcher's strongbox

I've been waiting to use the omen of secret compartments, so when I saw a researcher's strongbox (magic rarity), i activated the omen in my inventory, then identified and juiced the strongbox, and opened it. after beating it, it was NOT available to be opened again. the omen was NOT consumed.

same map - kept the omen activated and tried on another random strongbox (non-unique). still nothing!

i'm on jade isles map if that matters.

nevermind... the reason is that the omens were in a stack in my inventory. i was still able to activate it, so this is still a bug, but it worked as expected once it was a single active omen in the inventory slot.
