Blackflame Covenant + Original Sin conversion bug - Ball Lightning + fire infusion no longer ignites

When I'm using ball lightning along with Blackflame Covenant while it is fire infused I can get flammability and eventually ignite with its damage.

HOWEVER, if I add Original Sin, Amethyst Ring to the mix with 100% elemental into chaos conversion non corrupted etc, then I can no longer ignite with the ball lightning while its fire infused, I believe this shouldn't happen?

Can you guys look into this? Seems like a bug, all im doing is converting the remaining lightning damage to chaos damage and suddenly it can no longer ignite (nor shock but thats to be expected), this is weird if it is intended.

Then its bugged before, because it ignites when I have Blackflame Covenant and use Ball Lightning + fire infusion.

If I add Original Sin while still using Blackflame Covenant it stops igniting fully.

My overaching question then is Why does it ignite while I have Blackflame Covenant before? Ball Lightning's Fire infusion should be dealing chaos damage right?

So its a lightning skill dealing chaos damage, it shouldn't ignite then right? But it does. This is kinda a mess.

It's not a Fire Spell, so it's still doing Fire Damage?

God I feel dumb then, I was going on the notion that blackflame covenant converted all fire damage from spells to chaos, I think I'll meanwhile delete the post and wallow in shame.

Thanks for helping dumb me reach to the conclusion everything is working as intended. Overall with infusions apart from fireball feels like everything else is half baked for scaling chaos then. (And fire infused firestorm I guess).
