Essences of Abyss and Heart of the Well Diamond Disabled in SSF Specifically

Interactions between abyss and other mechanics are disabled in SSF specifically after the new patch. Ran into about 6 essences on top of abysses in a row, none of them had the essence. Also ran into a rogue exile, and it didn't drop a jewel. I went back on SC, and immediately the first abyssal map which had an essence mob was enhanced.

I have the issue on two characters on SC trade, and I have seen posts from others having the same issue.
