Can not cast, roll, use portal, or perform any actions

So I opened an essence and it appears that I got "stuck" in the essence. I was unable to perform any actions and just teleported back into the essence location when trying to move away.

I died to a mob and upon respawning I am unable to perform any actions still or cast/portal out of the map.

Upon restarting the game the issue resolved itself.
