Unable to log onto character (Isle of Kin/Kingsmarch)

Yesterday evening I was playing and was then progressing to "Isle of Kin" in act 4. During my first load of the zone my game crashed and currently the game keeps crashing when I try to log in. Loading screen specifies "Isle of Kin" but when in character selection it says my character is in "Kingsmarch". I have tried changing the drivers from DX12 to Vulkan but that had no effect. I have also tried to use the ctrl+enter option to respawn in town/hideout but this does not have any effect and just does the normal loading.
I have successfully logged onto another character on my account.
