PS5 constant ERROR when taken to character selection

I have downloaded the new update on PS5 and I have tried to load up POE , it loads and then when it prompts to press X to play , I do that and then it takes me to character selection and then I instantly get “something went wrong with this game or app”. The specific error code is CE-108255-1 . I have tried absolutely everything including clearing cache , rebuilding database , software update , deleting and reinstalling the entire game . My final solution was to reset my PS5 which is what I have just done and I am still encountering the error.
I checked to see if the game needed another update but the game is already up to date. My saved data is also synced so I have no idea what’s going on. I just want to play the game I have payed for and this is stressing me out. Please can someone contact me and help me out as soon as possible. Thanks Last bumped on Sep 2, 2025, 9:02:33 AM
