cant place back skill gem (convalescence)

was using a lvl 14 convalescence
refunding passives i then didnt have required att, gem was disabled, fixed it, couldnt reactivate the gem, took it out of socket, couldnt get it back in. I def had the req, I then tried making the skill again (lower lvl cuase that was what i had) and i could place it (the new one), but still couldnt place the old one.

I had the same problem. I had a level 18 gem before and i adjusting attributes to get enough spirit to use it. I finally had enough spirit, and it wouldnt allow me to turn it on. I took it out, wouldnt allow me to put it back in. Then i made a lower level one, then upgrade it to level 16, but it wouldnt allow me to upgrade any further. I have enough intelligence for it, and cant figure out why it wont me. This was with no supports and i have no idea why its functioning like this.
