"Invalid Spectre " has bricked my character

I found a bind Spectre gem in my stash and equipped it. The stored spectre was listed as "invalid" and upon dropping the gem into my skills I instantly crashed.

Now if I try to log that character in, it won't even finish loading and bounces back to the title screen.

I'm not sure which spectre was originally in the gem.

As an aside, I do collect specters and companions pretty heavily. Especially unusual ones.

BTW Bloodbilge should probably not be bindable. It seems some new base type was created for this particular rare monster out of the Fettered Monstrosity and it's using that and putting it into the gem.

I’m having the same issue, Spectre invalid. All of the affected players cant even log into these characters. Please just unequip this gem for us so we can play.

Turns out it was the Quill Crab that was removed and became this nuisance that is keeping many players from even logging into their characters!
