game crashed when I tried to load into Act 4: Excavation

Hello, I reached Act 4: Excavation, and my game crashed when I tried to load into the next area called Excalations, right after the boss Arastas.
Since then, I can’t launch the game anymore: every time I try to load the Excalations map, it crashes the same way. No error message appears.
I tried several times and even waited for hours hoping for a reset, but nothing worked.
What can I do to be able to play again, please?

Try this:

In Steam:
Right-click path of exile 2,
Properties,
Install files,
verify integrity of game files.

It took a couple minutes and repaired 40 files for me.
Then the game worked fine and loaded the Excavation area! :D
