Excavation crash bug

On the Excavation zone (A4) i beat the boss, then went into the chamber with some grand reveal. There is a flash of light which froze the game, and now I can't load in again because of instance issues.

I FIXED IT!

In Steam:
Right-click path of exile 2,
Properties,
Install files,
verify integrity of game files.

It took a couple minutes and repaired 40 files for me.
Then the game worked fine and loaded the Excavation area! :D
