Tame beast doesnt work with new beasts from Act 4?

I am right now on Island where u have a lot of water beasts (on land) but for some reason I cant tame single one? Is it bug or GGG forget that some ppl play this skill?

i havent been able to trap anything since creating the gem. i've been trying all through act 3 and 4. i make sure its a beast, i make sure to activate right before i kill the beast so the duration is up, and it just wont convert to the companion gem. i dont know what to do besides just drop the skill.

Spectres cannot be made from Act 4 monsters, so yes probably.
