Loot disappears on death

I believe there is a bug where boss loot disappears on death. I just defeated a miniboss and a pack of wolves spawned right after and killed me. When i returned the loot disappeared.

Is this about Path of Exile 1 or Path of Exile 2?
Were you definitely there when the boss died, or is it possible the boss died while you were outside? GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.
