Ravenous Swarm "Minion AOE" "Minion Duration" and "+ Limit" not working.
Ravenous swarm doesn't appear to be gaining any benefit for minion duration or minion area nodes on the skill tree.
Ravenous swarm doesn't gain the +2 limit from Expendable army (or the aforementioned Duration) If relevant, it does gain area from the global "Increased AOE" modifier on the skill tree. It does benefit from "Increased SKILL duration." The clarity on the skill being labeled as minion but gaining almost no benefits from minion nodes is hard to discern as being intentional or not. I also allocated Expendable Army and seemed to get no benefit from the limit increase or from the duration. I am also not convinced attack speed is working, though minion life and increased minion damage seem to be working fine. Movement speed also works, but it only shows when there is a swarm active and an enemy is in agro range. Lastly, not really a bug, but attack stats and poison stats for the swarm would be nice similar to what other minions like the sniper has. Thanks for the cool skill! |

This seems to be a visual bug on the stat page, though the swarms are a bit harder to test (I think that's working for duration but not sure about increasing swarms).
None of the temporary minions (SRS, unearth, zombies) show an increase in duration on the gem stat page when allocating minion duration nodes near expendable army. However, expendable army definitely works for SRS (10->12 spirits), and the duration does work. Was using prolonged duration and 40% skill effect duration. That takes the spirits to ~9.5s. " I tested this for swarm, coming from D2 mods where the character sheet tends to be useless. I was at 9.6 duration for swarm before taking any nodes, then I took all the Minion Duration nodes in the top left of the tree. Entered a battle area, opened the skill screen, waited for a swarm to populate so I could see the minion screen, started a timer and ran back to the start of the area. Around 9.2 seconds on my stopwatch the swarm despawned; factoring in the delay of starting/stopping the stopwatch, they were definitely not benefitting from Minion Duration. " Interesting, seems to be working for others, including auras like SRS (albeit with a visual bug not showing the increase), but not swarm then. In theory expendable army should be increasing the number of swarms to 5 as well, as it's increasing limit of temp minions just like SRS, although it will be somewhat harder to reach the duration needed to max it out. Quick update from my testing of this :
It seems like the limit increase is working, but the minion duration is not. I was playing today and a few times saw a 4th swarm, I decided to try adding more skill effect duration and sure enough once I got to 23.5 sec duration I started seeing the 4th swarm far more often. I would still like to see clarity on the skill stats, so we have a better idea of what is and is not working. For Example I cannot tell if 'Gigantic Following' works. The Gigantic support specifies persistent reviving minions, but the notable just says minions. |

I also hit the problem where passives for limit and duration do not work on ravenous swarm. Additionally the skill is way undertuned. I think this is the weakest minion at the moment. Even compared to raging spirits which also work in a similar way, the swarm is simply underperforming.
