blight is broken!

The majority of my blight ravaged maps drop as Ashen woods, or Cold river, two of the worst map layouts for blight. Whose bright idea was this, and will someone plz fix it? Orolath the slug crusher continuously ignores the game mechanics and nerfs over half of my attempted blights in map runs, and this costs me a great deal of coin. I love blight, but something really needs to be done to make it more consistent with the current state of the game.
