POE2 does not create POE 2 sub-folder in Documents

Dear supporters of GGG,

I have a problem is that after installing POE2 and play, i notice that the game does not save my settings. After checking, i found that folder Documents > My Games > Path Of Exile 2 does not exist, even that the My Games folder not auto generated in Documents folder, therefore it can not save my settings, and every time i log into game i have to do all the things again.

How can i fix this problem? My laptop only used to play POE2 and office applications.

Unfortunately no. I looked up online and OneDrive is also mentioned, but not found it on my laptop.

What happens, if you (as admin) create the folders? Or try to start POE2 as admin.

You could also check the properties of the "Documents" folder, which users have access to it.

And it could also be that your Antivirus program is preventing it and you need to give access to it (e.g. for Windows Defender it is called "Ransomware Protection").

Is the Documents folder set as read only?

What happens if you right click and attempt to create the folders manually?
