With the new SPRINTIG mechanism, the balance in the value of boots changes!
This completely new and innovative mechanism will change everything in the balance, not only affecting party experience gain, but also significantly changing the balance of the value of boots.
Many times I have played in groups and encountered situations where players fell behind due to the fast movement of some well-made class characters. All the experience gain was lost and sometimes players were excluded from the group or even gave up not wanting to follow any further under these annoying conditions.The sprint mechanism will help team members who cannot move quickly to easily reach the team leader, thus benefiting the experience gain for the entire team. Another great innovative idea about the Sprinting mechanic is that it is not affected by movement speed modifiers, and this is why no team member will ever be left behind. Furthermore a big advantage of the Sprinting mechanic is that it changes the value of boots a lot. The biggest complaint from players about boots was that their value increased as the speed of the movement modifier increased. So all boots that didn't have this modifier were wasted, even if the other modifiers were top-notch. Even recent runes related to movement speed modifiers couldn't change the fact that low movement speed modifiers on boots forced players to discard them. Finally, I will give an example of how the sprint mechanism affects boot prices and therefore complete the shoe purchase. "Vaal Greaves" (Armour 740) 1 Socket empty - 15% increased movement speed - 94 to Armour - 100% increased Armour - +25 to Strength - 28% to Fire Resistance - 42% to Cold Resistance with the previous conditions before patch 0.3.0 this kind of boots considered a junk item. Now Sprinting mechanism raises the value of such an item becouse some classe like Warrior they don't need to worry about quickly following the group and at the same time they can face enemies with minimal movement speed modifier because they fight hand to hand with the enemy. But have you considered 35% faster sprint? :P
In seriousness it will be interesting. I'm not convinced it changes the value of move speed much if at all. Move speed in combat is still the best defensive stat you can have. |

movespeed will still be highly valuable because combat the best way to mitigate damage is to not take it in the first place, the dodge helps but isn't always ideal.
And trying to use sprint for this in combat is playing with fire. But I admit that this will really help aleviate a lot of other pain points the game had. |

The entire Warrior class has been weakened, man, and you're talking about innovative ideas. Okay, it might help the team follow a team game, but the purchase prices of the boots won't... stay the same.The only way to make lower movement speed boots valuable is to bring nodes into the warrior's P.tree area. Then, and maybe then, the rules will change for a better outcome.
