Feedback on EA keys and account issues cross platform

I was gifted a steam key for EA which I used on a different steam account than my main account. This was because at the time, I didn't have access to this "veteran account" which has all of my steam games on it.

Anyway, case and point is, I have some POE 2 EA keys that are usable through the main site, which give EA access to a POE account, but they wont work through steam.

In other words, if I was a steam-only player, having these keys doesn't do anything for me because I would be forced to use the native launcher whether cloud or locally, to be able to play.

This also makes it so I have to kinda juggle linking-unlinking with steam until EA is finally over, depending on which POE I am playing (1 or 2).

I realize there are limitations, but IMO there should be a process for re-assigning, or simply being able to "cash in" one key type for another, whether you paid 30$, or had it gifted.
