char just dont live at all. cant finish even t16 map. Essense mob pretty deadly.

any advice much appreciated. budget for improving around 400 div.

Maybe you need some additional layers of defense, such as Molten Shell, Immortal Call + Replica Rumi's Concoction flask, and extra auras like Tempest Shield, or if you want, switch to a full Energy Shield build without CI but using Low Life Shavronne's Wrapping with +2 corruption.
