Loot Fell off cliff after death and respawn

I was doing a breach on Ravine map on PS5. I died after killing a rare monster that dropped some loot. When going back to the monster all the loot had fallen into the ravine next to the monster and most of it is not targetable. Thankfully nothing valuable dropped!
