If I'm not mistaken, at the start of version 0.1 it was said that they would be added in release 1.0 or a patch before the release.

Swords are dumb. With the way they handeled Spears (sword on a stick), I have 0 faith that their implementation will be good.

Don't worry, we won't be getting new weapons. Pretend to enjoy the trash uniques we'll get and make a build around them because we're not gonna get many new items.

It's better to keep your hopes very low and be surprised if we get anything halfway decent. Don't expect much because it always leads to suffering.

We'll all find out in a few days..

I share the same opinion. After 0.2, I don't expect anything super good, and I'll play on ssf unless something interesting is added.
