Crash to desktop while loading character

My game crashes to desktop while loading my warrior. It started while I was respeccing him. I had put unique gloves that allow strength to satisfy other attribute requirements of melee weapons and skills and I had just selected Giants Blood. I hand Mjolnir in main hand and I added a two handed Mace to my offhand. Mjolnir is not active as I needed more strength, I closed my inventory to run to the bank to switch out other gear and the game froze. I cannot log into that character now, it just crashes to desktop. I am able to login and play all the other characters on my account. It is not a hardware issue.
