"Feel Arakaali's sting"

Arakaali is a spider goddess.
Napuatzi tells us to "feel her sting".
Spiders do not sting.
Am I missing something?

She imbues spearmans with the poison so they sting us.
She also says arakali's web which make more sense but they still sting us but webs dont sting either.

Also spiders do not shoot lasers but you know it's a videogame.

OP is right, i don't know why we have to defend 'sting' here. change it to 'bite/fang', small details like this matter and using the 'video games are not realistic' argument here doesn't hold well

Neither does Arakaali.
Last I checked, Arakaali doesn't "sting" either (I know this because you can fight her in PoE1), nor does she have a stinger (besides the point that if she did, she'd be a scorpion).
Videogames still follow their own logic and rules for constistency's sake.

Uhm i mentioned lasers because there is a laser mechanic in that fight, isn'it? might be wrong...

i read somewhere that she was indeed a spider but often she turned in human form to lure mortals and kill them, so the sting we refer to could easily be a weapon (poisoned dagger?) she used to kill mortals and eat them or whatever she used to.

Arakaali's web for example is totally out of place and i would change this mechanic rather than the other one. (it's just the same mechanic with a different call, i dislike this more than the other one even if both might be out of place)

Yes, agree about rules they should follow, but if it's intentional then we are probably missing something?
