Static Strike + Fortify Support = not gaining Fortification really often

Static Strike + Fortify Support = barely gain Fortification.
I have [hit can't Evaded] on meele weapon. Using Static Strike + Fortify Support + CoC + Vortex. I have tested serval maps and in Delve, I just barely gain any Fortification. According to POE WIKI (https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Static_Strike), It says the beam of Static Strike qualify as melee damage. and even I use Melee hit, it still doesn't give me any Fortification. Not enough damage? The amount of stacks gained depends on hit's damage.

More specifically, fortification gained is based on hit damage vs ailment threshold and enemy's rarity. The more HP/threshold an enemy has, the more hit damage is required to gain at least 1 fortification stack, which is then offset slightly by the rarity of the enemy.
Assuming this is on your Sabo, you have very low phys on your dagger, and Fortify is the only support for Static Strike providing damage, so only the occasional normal mob is probably generating any fortification stacks. If you take the same build through campaign, it will probably have no trouble generating fortification stacks. This was changed about 4 years ago in 3.16. |

" I am so appreciate for your explanation. Yes, I am using Saboteur to CoC to trigger Vortex, and it isn't my main damage linked, so there is almost no damage on Static strike. I have played POE since 3.18, and barely play Attack skills,so I learn someting new today :D ] Thank you all |
