sacrifical zeal,divine flesh,eldritch battery and mind over matter issue

I'm currently making a build using the hand of the fervent buff (sacrifical zeal) which use a scaling from mana cost,while using eldritch battery and divine flesh.i'm having two aura reserved and about 1/3 of my mana unreserved.i planned to use zerphy's last breath flask to scale some regen with the mana cost,but to use it ,i need my mana to not reach its unreserved maximum amount so i planned to use mind over matter,since divine flesh would prevent damage,like the damage over time from sacrificial zeal,to interupt my ES recharge.

But here is the problem: my recharge is in fact interrupted from that damage,and the recharge delay only start when the sacrificial zeal buff is over.this means i have to wait for more than 5seconds before my energy shield start recharging and i can barely cast any skill due to my very high mana cost.

To fix this,i tried allocating wicked ward,but it didn't change anything at all.

Another weird thing with this is that the damage from sacrificial zeal is properly taken from my life and mana and not from the energy shield which doesn't move at all once the recharge is interrupted so i assume this is effectively unintended and that my recharge shouldn't be interrupted

if that could be fixed very soon,that would be extremely appreciated as this makes a huge problem to my unique interaction,thanks for any answer

well in fact it seems damage to mana still stop recharge,so please ignore my post
