GGG why is Blight still UNPLAYABLE..
So I tried new Atlas trees out, stumbled on Blight, im not doing any multi mirror builds just FROSS and I cannot kill mobs fast enough as like 5mirror build can.
For this reason Blight still gets to a state that the game locks up and just logs me out of my account.. Like who designed these buffs? How did this pass QA? Why after months of the league is this still not fixed.. Eighter delete the nodes from the Atlas that are causing this or delete the scarabs.. Ive spent a lot of time and effort gearing my character up and I am facing content that your actual servers cannot handle because you throw millions of mobs from Blight.. " From the sounds of it, it isn't their PC that's the issue, but their build. Forbidden Rite of Soul Sacrifice launches bombs at enemies, dealing AoE damage--which can shotgun. Shooting hundreds of projectiles a second into a dense pack of enemies, and not killing them quickly, is probably choking the server with the hit calculations. I wouldn't be surprised if FRoSS is the number 1 cause of server instability this league. |

nah, Blight was always problem.
fellow Players with stronger PCs will see it aswell. If you watch some of the CCs blight videos about it, you will see their UI flicker out of existence. Happened to me too, but i have way older PC. |

If you buy blighted maps with choke points, you can pretty much let the towers do all the work. An ice tower/petrifying tower at the chokes and then whatever damage towers you want, and you can pretty much just afk the rest of the event.

Blooming + 2x risk + 100% delirious and originator influenced makes it so that the monsters will start T-posing and eventually you will loose the map by crashing the instance. |

" Yeah, part of it is a Blight issue. While I have a (slightly) better computer now, the previous computer I had at some point was no longer able to run Blight. It could ~2 years ago, but some time last year, it started dropping to 1 fps and lower even during a barebones map blight. Not even attacking the monsters, just having them on-screen was killing that computer. As I mentioned though, I think Forbidden Rite of Soul Sacrifice is really killing the servers. For example: A FRoSS build guide with gameplay included in the video. Might help to watch it at 0.5x speed for the short hitches to stand out more. At 17:48 he starts showcasing the gameplay in a T17 map. There are a lot of small hitches in the gameplay, mostly when using FRoSS, though there was a noticable hitch earlier on when he Lightning Warped and maybe Bladefalled a big group of enemies to start stacking up Soul Eater. Especially of note to me are 18:25-18:28, where you can see two clear examples of the game hitching just before FRoSS hits. Because animations other than FRoSS are still animating, it's clear it's a network or server-side issue rather than an issue with the player's PC. And this is just normal packs, no Delirium or other modifiers making the monsters tankier. They gain Endurance charges on hit, but that doesn't help against Chaos damage. It's easy to imagine the issues being worse when casting into the dense lines of monsters Blight provides, made even denser by keeping more monsters in one place with stun towers or chilling towers with the enchant for freezing. When you mention people uploading Blight videos with these issues, what builds are they using? Could you include some links, if you have particular videos in mind? |

Here I am with a Ryzen 9 5900XT & RX 7700 XT with and let me tell you, latency just spikes up to the point of crashing instances.
Pff, who even plays Standard?
