Expedition Remnants should be hidden before interaction
It is blocking view of player and can overlap with other mechanism. Apart from that, there is no meaning of showing the remnants for players who don't do expedition.
Please make it so the texts are only shown after player talked to the NPC, just like Cassia. TBH this thing alone makes me want to ban expedition even though I don't need the extra chance to other mechanisms. Last bumped on Aug 14, 2025, 5:22:36 PM

Not sure I'm on board with this. I think you have a valid problem, but I'm often reading the mods and deciding which to use before starting it. I also wouldn't want to click on the NPC before placing the explosives. Its already somewhat annoying that you need to walk over to them within a certain radius to be able to begin placing them. I wouldn't want to walk right upto them, click them, start reading, place the explosives, walk back to denotator, complete event, then open all chests. It's already a fair bit to do without extra steps.
There might be some other improvement they could make that solves what you are asking about while not making the expedition encounters more tedious to interact with. I see where you are coming from though. It shouldn't be visually intrusive. |

Maybe a middle ground would be, you tap the first remnant you encounter and it brings up all the descriptive text, and you can start placing the explosives immediately, rather than walking towards the npc. I still think there is a benefit to being able to read them as you are walking and playing before you interact with it. Also note, that have another thing to accidentally click on is causing other players problems, particularly in HC, where the gameplay gets interrupted. They current method seems to work pretty well for that, where there is nothing to accidentally click before placing the explosives.
