Leap slam and any socketed support gems are half as effective in all respects.

Leap slam instead channels at start location allowing the players camera to move to where they want to go with a maximum distance of 300% movement speed distance, each 0.15 seconds the channel hits a threshold that increased it's effectiveness and damage by 20% dealing this damage to the location as extra damage split among all other types of damage you would otherwise not deal.
"this may seem confusing but the higher your movement speed the faster you channel your proceeded movement while channeling and can leap = run in a straight line for 10 seconds.


Your character is vulnerable to talking damage at 1.2* the normal rate while channeling but cannot be Hard CC'ed "Stun/Displace/Stone etc.

to end the channel early simply let go of the button.
Your cherector will blink to and preform a channeled slam.
