Armour should function as %phys resistance
Armour should function for physical damage the same way elemental resistances do for Fire/Cold/Lightning.
If my Witch gets to stack 10k ES, then my Warrior in a heavy Armour with 3k HP should get to have 50% physical resistance, not only for small hits, but big ones as well. Last edited by Fae_Lyth#6750 on Aug 10, 2025, 6:03:34 AM Last bumped on Aug 11, 2025, 9:16:08 AM

it does provide physical damage reduction man
I'm going around with 3.7 armour and it provides 52% physical damage reduction, what do you mean exactly? |

You talking about warrior. What about Merc class that plays with 85% Armour and 1700 Life??? Can't survive in battle compared to 11k ES.
Armour need not only to be buffed but also change the mechanism and mitigate a small percentage of elemental damage. Let's see it in reality. Why not an iron Armour can't mitigate fire shot??? Surely not 100% but one 15%-30 is possible. Same to cold damage. For lighting damage is not possible becouse iron is good current conductor. |

" Indeed. Why Armour not mitigating a small percentage of elemental damage? Runes are not function if using Armour points couse socket are limited in gear and when not socketing % of increased armour then the elemental mitigation isn't enough. |

" That's, counterintuitively, not how armour works. Armour primarily applies to small hits, and progressively does less and nothing the bigger the hit. Good against Porcupine Crabs, useless against Silverfist. Last edited by Fae_Lyth#6750 on Aug 10, 2025, 8:18:25 AM
