Quest Items WHY?!

WHY GGG?? Why do they take up personal inventory space, why can't I store it in my stash or drop them. Why do they NEED exist anyways.

Why?

I know why.

MONEY.

Another mechanic to force you to buy more stash tabs. Fill your personal inventory with pointless physical quest items so that you can't store actual useful items on you and you fill up your already very limited stash.

Solution go buy more stash tabs. GGG forcing you to buy more stash tabs

I have some very VILE words for GGG and the people in charge.

You can't drop them in town because littering is bad. You can drop them outside of town just fine, though.

Or you could do the quests, I guess.

Or GGG could have done the correct thing and not make quest items take up physical inventory space.

A 5 yr old with half complete Lego set could have come up with a better idea then what GGG did with Quest items.
Huh. Just do the quest?
The only quest and its items I despise are in Heist.
The campaign ones aren't really even worth mentioning as you don't need your inventory space anyway at that point yet.
really weird thing to complain about, either don't pick up useless quest items or turn them in and finish, not complicated. whys your inventory so full of junk to not pick up quest items?
If only there was a way to not see items or currency you don’t want to pick up or engage with….🤔
The main reason for quest items in most games is to ensure that the player has enough inventory space to receive the quest reward. It's incredibly frustrating to repeatedly close and reopen the reward menus because the reward occupies more space than you have available. Quest items take up space to guarantee there’s enough room in the stash for the reward.

That said, PoE often uses quest items that are smaller than the rewards, creating a "worst of both worlds" situation. The quest item occupies space, but you still need to micromanage your inventory to claim the reward. However, the idea that this is designed to sell stash tabs is absurd.

There’s no direct connection between stash tabs and a cluttered inventory. Your inventory determines how many items you can bring back from maps. If your inventory is smaller, you can carry fewer items per trip, and buying stash tabs doesn’t improve this in any way.
if ur inventory is always 90% full then ur doing something wrong
