Tiers being "low means good" for modifiers, but "high means good" for everything else triggers me

Agreed. Can we standardize this please? Best = lower number (1) or best = higher number (7) across everything.
97 Blood Mage, 96 Gemling, 95 Deadeye, 93 Invoker, 92 Amazon, 92 Stormweaver, 91 Smith of Kitava

should just be standard that the best tier is t1, makes the most sense because then the subsequent tiers can be made of any number and the player will always understand the order on first glance. if a player wonders why the highest affix they are seeing is not T1 then they can easily find out how to get it.
if it's a standardized highest number then that requires a rework of tiers, and it's still confusing for PoE1 players Last edited by AverBeg7#1689 on Aug 10, 2025, 5:03:56 AM

Idk it feels pretty normal to me. We do this in every day English and are totally used to it. Rank 1 and Step 1 irl are basically opposite each other in the exact same way, but everyone understands them.
