Anoint Buff on Mercenaries

I was thinking to anoint "Influence" on my merc but I did not found any source about that skill will affect my character or not. Where can I find this information?

I have so many aura skills and if it affects, it will be perfect.

Anointments do apply to mercs. Aura effect also do apply to merc auras.

There is not a lot of direct information about this. GGG made a few FAQ posts about the mercs around the start of the league though. It might be in the announcement history around that time.
