[Game] Spirit skills do not play well with weapon slots

I spent about 40 minutes trying to make all combinations before I was sure that this seems indeed as an erroneous behavior from game code first.

I have the issue that I cannot toggle any of the spirit skills that are gem-ed for my character with weapon slot II (2). The only skills that work are any of the implicit skills on the weapon. This is what I experience with my character:

Spirit gems:
- Herald of Thunder
- Cast on Critical
- Sacrifice

Weapons:
Slot I -> Spear
Slot II -> Rattling Scepter

Checked:
- I fullfil Spear DEX / INT / STR reqs
- I fullfil Scepter DEX / INT / STR reqs
- I fullfil Primary gems DEX / INT / STR reqs
- I fulfill Secondary gems (socketed) DEX / INT / STR reqs
- I have 200+ Spirit from my character and non-weapon gear

When I go to "Toggle Aura" for Slot I I see all 3 of my spirit skills listed and I can toggle them On and Off normally. If I switch to Slot II I see all three spirit skills as "This skill is not compatible with your weapon set". I can understand Herald of Thunder would have that, but Cast on Critical / Sacrifice?

If I change Scepter to Slot I and Spear to Slot II, then I see that Herald of Thunder is not available for weapon set (✔️) and I can toggle On and Off Cast on Critical and Sacrifice. If I move to Slot II with my spear now, I can set Heral of Thunder On and Off, but Cast on Critical and Sacrifice become incompatible with weapon set even though they worked fine when my spear was set in Slot I.

If this is an intended behavior then I fail to understand what can I do to be able to turn on Auras that are weapon agnostic for Slot II.

UPDATE:

So, I resolved this and it was indeed "my fault". In the end your STR / DEX / INT count separately for your weapon reqs and the weapon implicit skill.

I had the requirement for the scepter but not for the skill in the scepter.

In the past when I had reqs not fulfilled the UI always has indications that there is something wrong with my skills, like the red exclamation mark. But not in this case.

I discovered this by accident because I slotted a support gem to the wrong skill.
