Task Bar at Top of Screen pushes POE off-screen

I'm running Windows 10. I have my taskbar at the top of the screen, and I run PoE in Windows Fullscreen.

About 75% of the time when I launch PoE the taskbar stays visible at the top of the screen and the game is pushed down so that a taskbar's width of game is pushed off the bottom of the screen.

All I have to do is go to my Display Settings in-game and choose any other Mode, then hit scape/Revert to not save the changes and it goes back to being fullscreen again.

The odd thing is that 25% of the time when this doesn't happen. Not sure what would account for it not being consistent.

I'm also using Dx12 if that makes a difference.

Thanks

I have the same problem with my taskbar on the left, the game boots and is shifted to the right until I switch it to fullscreen and then back to borderless again. Running W11 23H2.

Screenshots of the issue?

What app software are you using to force the taskbar to the top of the screen?

Are you sure this isn't an Nvidia, GeForce Experience, or other overlay problem that's not adjusted during initial launch?

In the past taskbars not disappearing have been overlay related.

While your game is loaded and the taskbar is showing, open Task Manager, search for Windows Explorer, right click and select Restart. Does this correct the behavior?
Since it doesn't give me the option to paste or upload an image and I can't be bothered to host it elsewhere and cross link, you'll just have to imagine a taskbar at the top of the screen, but overtop of the game instead of obscured by it. :p

No third party app, not "forcing" the taskbar, just dragged it there as one would any other position they wanted it.

Fear not, if I knew what was causing the problem I would certainly mention it.

And no, restarting Windows Explorer doesn't correct the behavior as the next time I load the game the same thing happens again.
