Broken Animated Guardian?

Lost animated guardian in a map over last two days, and have not been able to resurrect it since. going to new zones/instances does not work. relogging didn't work. using spell on new equipment doesn't work.

i cast the spell, spell effect flashes, but no guardian appears/reappears. after casting it with no effect, if i try to cast it again, it says i can't reanimate the guardian in that zone because one already died there, even though no guardian was ever present.

Read what your chest does.
It may not be obvious but if you convert 100% of something to a different thing then you no longer have any of the original thing.
if your minion(s) have more than 49% chaos res then they reach 0 hp right after the chest mod is applied. A damageable entity with 0 hp considered dead so they despawn.

Doh! good call! I must have used a pair of boots that had some pretty high chaos resists on them, because when i resummoned with a new pair of boots with no chaos, guardian popped right up. i only had minion chaos resist specced to 26% with skills, but the boots must have been 24% or more.

will have to keep an eye out to make sure i don't put chaos resists on any guardian gear.
