Trial of Sekhemas --- "trial progress will be saved and you can return later"

In the trial of sekhemas, at the trial map, i saw a button "trial progress will be saved and you can return later".

Does this mean that I can save the trial progress and turn off the game and go to bed. And tomorrow when I start up the game again, I will be able to continue the trial at the last progress?

yes, you can exit the trial with that button, it will teleport you to the main entrance where you can see the progress on the podium. currently there is a bug that shows you got no keys on that screen, but the keys are there when you enter- its juts a visual bug.

Thank you. I am just grateful and happy that ggg allows the players to save the trial progress so that it can be completed in multiple sessions.

That's a good QoL change.

IIRC, you can even take your entrance fee out to store for later (and sell it) if you are so inclined.
