All the Warpriest bugs/oversights I know about so far

Of Holy Relic and Beacons of Faith's six potential supports, two of them (Brutality and Physical as Extra) brick each other, yet are still able to roll together. A lot of the other mercs who used to have phys overwhelm supports have this same problem, but it seems to happen especially frequently on Warpriest. Sanguimancer has this problem as well, she almost always rolls with both Brutality and Physical as Chaos in the same link, for many of her skills

Smite is his primary attack and usually has Generosity support, yet Holy Relic, Dominating Blow, and Herald of Purity all roll Brutality extremely frequently, neutralizing the lightning damage he seemingly is supposed to be donating to them.

He doesn't seem to be able to use Touch of God, or if he does it has significantly different particles and animations from Dominus's version that make it hard to tell.

Holy Flame Elementals summoned by the Warpriest don't follow the Warpriest or the party and will simply meander around the area in which they were created. He doesn't summon them again, so the skill effectively does nothing. I tested this by bringing him along on a quick Delve run; when I got to the end, there were no flame elementals with me. I had to backtrack all the way to the beginning of the instance to find them, in the spot I'd first encountered enemies.

Allied Warpriests don't seem to use Consecrated Path when they have it.

All of the Str/Int mercs have a little bit of jank to them but Warpriest is definitely the worst offender and it's a shame cuz his kit is cool, and Neon uses him as a basetype. Can we please give this dude some love? Considering how absurdly rare Ruckus is, it'd be nice if he could actually be used properly by anybody who gets lucky enough to come across him

Bump of the Ruckus, it's objectively funny that the basetype for Mark's self-insert mercenary has so much stuff broken with him but lbr he deserves to at least have Touch of God and his Flame Elementals fixed

please fix Warpriest, do it for Neon. unless the idea behind him is that the Keitans trained him wrong as a joke, I guess

Fun fact, the boss minions summoned by Fallen Reverend seem to have the same issues with their AI as Warpriest's Holy Flame Elementals and will often loiter around in the area they were summoned instead of following the party.

A simple fix to every class with this minion issue would be to make the Merc teleport skill bring any mercenary-created minions along with them.

The most unfortunate thing about Warpriest is that the skills that don't work properly would all be his best ones, if they did. Homie got potential-itis even worse than the Sanguimancer, she at least has stuff that works, she just paid someone to level her character for her so she doesn't understand that you shouldn't put Brutality and Phys gained as Chaos in the same six-link

Brutality existing as a support for mercs is just the developers trolling us, straight up. Very few situations where you would ever want it on a merc.
Infamous Warbump of the Ruckus

Update on the Touch of God bug to hopefully help with reproducing it; it seems to only happen on Warpriests with both Sanctified Strike and Touch of God.

Warpriests who have both will glitch out and run in place doing nothing, if you take their weapon off to try and get them to attack with Touch of God.
