Kingsmarch generating shipment value without using resources

Due to shipment windows saving values of each allocated ore, it is possible to enter maximum of owned ores (f.e. 30 Crimson Iron Ore), exit shipping window and smelt all the ores. Shipping value will be saved and still calculated from quantity entered before smelting.

It allows to increase shipment value without using resources (f.e. enter 30 of Bismuth Ore, smelt it and enter Bismunth Bar)

I expect that this is related to the following change from early Settlers League:

Patch 3.25.0 Hotfix 10
"
Fixed Shipments failing to be sent when ore is smelted after setting the values, so it was trying to send more than you have. It now sends what ore is available from the amount set.


Did you confirm if the stated shipped value was reflected in your returned goods (admittedly this may be difficult to do, outside of exaggerated cases)?

According to the quoted change from that patch, it should have reduced your actual shipment value at the time the shipment was completed (even if it stated a higher shipment value at the time of sending the shipment).

Previous to this change, iirc the shipment was failing or not counting that resource where the amount was not actually available.
