No characters on Steam?

I had an account awhile back playing on PS5. I forgot about that when I played this on Steam. Now I've updated so I can choose from either account but it shows no characters on the original account? Does it not use the characters I have on the account?

Yes, on Steam I can pick the account above but it shows no saved characters.
