Hey there!
Today I got an error "There has been a patch you need to update to. Please restart Path of Exile". I'm playing from the Steam. Partially helps to double-check game file via steam but after restart steam I get this issue again. Last bumped on Jul 14, 2025, 7:13:59 AM

Same , steam straight force validate game files. Even after i've multiple times doin it no luck.

I've just delete DXcache from windows storage options it fixes for me or its just a coincidence i dont know.For whose using Win11:
Starup->Settings->System->Storage->Temporary Files Uncheck all boxes except "DirectX Shader Cache". And it fixed for me. But it could be a coinsidence cuz it was validating once more while i was doing this. |

Same issue, cant get into the game. It keeps saying theres a new patch and when restarting it starts to verify game files only to tell me there´s a new patch again. Loop.

Maybe there was some issue on steam side because I was also stucked in this patch loop but now it let me ingame, hope it works from now without any problems.
