Spectral shield throw's primary projectile is still piercing

reported this bug weeks ago with other people experiencing the same thing and no fix or official response. in it's current state its boarderline unplayable. i started SST this league only to figure out it's worse than it's ever been and wanting to roll to a high budget SST build and it's not worth it with it piercing.
