Why do New Zealand users have to play on Singapore servers?

Recently, I’ve been experiencing severe lag while playing the game. Every time I play, I get constant lag spikes. the latency suddenly jumps from a stable 18ms to over 1000ms, sometimes even reaching 10,000–20,000ms. After that, the screen freezes on a black loading screen with the GGG logo and spinning gears for over 30 seconds, and then it unfreezes only for the cycle to repeat again. I initially thought this was a problem on my end, so I replaced my Wi-Fi adapter with a brand new one and even contacted my ISP to check the quality of my internet connection.

However, it turns out this is actually a server-side issue from the game company. After checking YouTube, I found many streamers and users experiencing exactly the same symptoms. I also looked through the forums and found that there has been a DDoS attack on the European servers, which has been causing widespread server instability. Despite this, I noticed there has been no proper announcement from the developers explaining the issue or how it's being addressed.

After switching to the Singapore server, the game now runs smoothly for me. All of my guildmates in New Zealand have also been experiencing similar problems and are currently playing on the Singapore server instead.

Why hasn’t the game company made an official announcement to inform users about this issue? Shouldn't it be the company's responsibility to prioritize communicating such critical server problems to the community instead of staying silent?
